

Hoops U14NL win first game while Abingdon Eagles U16 win the double header
Mixed fortunes for Oxford Hoops last weekend as their U14 National League team won away against Northants Titans Purple 67-74, while the U18s narrowly lost away to Bucks Hornets 64-50. It was Abingdon Eagles' weekend though as the U16NL team beat Hoops twice in a double header, playing in the Cup on Sunday and the League on Saturday. This coming weekend sees Abingdon Eagles' U14s start their season with a home game against Luton, while the U16s hope to continue their winning

It was a good weekend for Oxfordshire basketball as the Abingdon Eagles U16 National League team won their first game of the season vs Farnborough Phantoms I 85-57. Play was fast and furious, but once the Eagles found their rhythm the result was never in doubt. They were the only Oxfordshire team to start their League games but this coming Saturday and Sunday there are a number of games to look out for in the National League where are teams are in action.
