Oxfordshire's U12 ballers battled it out

It was a great atmosphere at the OBA's first Summer League CVL Tournament. Held at Abingdon & Witney College teams from Oxford Hoops, Thame Basketball Club and Abingdon Eagles battled it out over 3 tense games.

The first game saw the Eagles up against Thame and it was well-fought by both teams. With only 6 players, Thame struggled against a strong 10-man Eagles side but battled until the end eventually losing 35-16.

The next game saw the boys from Thame up again against Oxford Hoops. The game was end to end and it was only the shooting power of the Hoops that won it with the final score 38-22 to Hoops.

The final game Eagles vs Hoops was a real nail biter with the 2 teams neck and neck until the last minute of the game, with Eagles finally taking it 44-41.

It was a great afternoon of basketball and the OBA would like thank the Clubs, coaches, players and parents for their support.
