OCBL Finals Day a Great Success
OCBL Finals Day on the 28th April saw 6 of the best teams in the area match up in the finals of 3 end of season competitions.
Thame Tigers vs. Witney Wolves - OCBL Men's Plate
In a closely contested game, Tigers led by Chris Skidmore (33 points) lost narrowly to Wolves 76-80 with Corbin Biddis coming off the bench for the Wolves with 23 points including 5 x 3 pointers, shooting 60% from 2 point range and 53% from 3, adding 7 rebounds 1 assist and 1 steal in an MVP performance.

Having already won the league this season, Magic blew the game open in the 3rd quarter stretching their lead to 15 points. Despite rallying in the 4th quarter, Jet couldn't claw back the deficit and the Magic ran out worthy winners 45-55.
#6 Smiranova led Jet with 14 points, with Magic's Annetta Dobson putting in an MVP performance: 5 rebounds, 6 steals, 3 assists and 17 points.
Stealers Red vs. MK Knights - OCBL Men's Cup
The two top men's teams in the OCBL this season contested the Men's Cup Final this year. With League champs Stealers Red taking on the MK Knights.
In a very competitive game the lead changed 13 times, but Stealers Red stepped it up with a strong second half performance to win narrowly by 3 points 68-65.
MVP Adam Hayle of Stealers Red was the difference in this very closely contested game with 2 rebounds, 2 steals, 3 assists and 16 crucial points. With #80 D. Kerbeh leading Knights with 15 points.
