Hoops U14NL win first game while Abingdon Eagles U16 win the double header

Mixed fortunes for Oxford Hoops last weekend as their U14 National League team won away against Northants Titans Purple 67-74, while the U18s narrowly lost away to Bucks Hornets 64-50.

It was Abingdon Eagles' weekend though as the U16NL team beat Hoops twice in a double header, playing in the Cup on Sunday and the League on Saturday.

This coming weekend sees Abingdon Eagles' U14s start their season with a home game against Luton, while the U16s hope to continue their winning streak with a home game against West Herts Warriors II. Tip 1.00pm and 3.00pm respectively at Abingdon & Witney College.

Hoops U16s will have a tough challenge against Milton Keynes Trojans but they are at home and hope to have 2 of their injured players returning. Tip 1.00pm at Cheney School.

Oxford Brookes also start their campaigns with the Women in Division 1 - Away to Ipswich and the Oxford Brookes Men in Division 3 - Away to Bristol UWE Flyers II on Saturday.

On Sunday - Oxford Stealers - Division 3 - Away to RCT Gladiators

There are 2 Sunday games awaiting confirmation in the National Cup. Abingdon Eagles U16 away to MK Trojans and Oxford Hoops U18 away to Reading Rockets II.
