Oxfordshire U16s Sizzle at CVL Tournament

At an extremely warm home court Abingdon Eagles teams shared the honours at the OBA U16s CVL with Oxford Hoops, with all teams winning a game.

Game 1 saw Eagles Blue play Eagles Orange and come out on top 43-40, but the effort took it’s toll and in Game 2 Blues ran out of steam losing to a good Oxford Hoops team 16-27. Game 3 was the tie of the day with Hoops slugging it out against Eagles Orange, matching each other basket for basket, three for three, with Orange eventually the victors 29 - 28.

Thanks to Dan C and David for running the table and Nice Work to Dan Archer, a newly qualified Oxfordshire Level 2 Referee, for officiating all three games with Aggie. Tony B was very impressed by what he saw, so well done and thank you for getting involved so soon after qualifying.

Next up are the U14s on Sunday 15th July at Cheney School, Oxford, pitting their ballin talents against Thame and Oxford Hoops. Work hard and play hard and maybe you will get that last minute one point win which makes it all worthwhile.
